The Seattle-Tacoma Guitar Show celebrates its silver anniversary Sunday at the Kent Commons.
More than 130 vendors – full of vintage, new and used guitars, basses, amps, mandolins, lap steels, ukes, banjos, effects pedals and other items – will fill the Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Ave. N.
Show hours for the buy-sell-or-trade event are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“It’s a blast, the whole Northwest guitar community is there. We bring a lot of people to Kent,” said the show’s producer, Bruce Adolph. “We encourage people to bring old instruments and things they want to sell. There’s a lot of horsetrading that goes on. … It’s a whole wide range (of vendors). Some of it is big music stores or just collectors. It’s a really fun event.”
Admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
