Four people were injured when a semi-truck rolled on Interstate 5 south near Kent on Thursday, Oct. 28.
Shortly before noon, South King Fire and Rescue crews responded to the freeway just south of South 272nd Street for reports of a multiple-vehicle collision.
A semi trailer detached from the truck, leaving the trailer on its side in the roadway, according to a tweet from South King Fire. The truck drove through a road barrier and rolled onto its side.
Two patients suffered non-life-threatening injuries and two additional patients have minor injuries. One of the patients was transported to a local hospital.
Large debris scattered in and near the roadway, leaving several freeway lanes closed.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
