The Kent Sister Cities Association is looking for candidates to serve as youth ambassadors to Sunnfjord Norway for a 14-day stay with a host family.
The Kent/Sunnfjord program sends two students from Kent to Sunnfjord in July/August. In exchange, two Sunnfjord students visit Kent as Norwegian Youth Ambassadors for a 14-day stay with the Kent ambassadors’ families.
The committee organizing the exchange is seeking Kent students between 14 and 17 years old to participate in the program. Applicants must be currently attending Kent schools.
Any interested student must fill out an application and write a short essay about why he or she would like to be chosen as a youth ambassador to Norway. The application deadline is March 2.
A brochure and application form are available at the activities offices at Kent high schools and at the Kent Commons.
