Bank of America volunteers recently presented more than $16,000 to Northwest Harvest in Kent, which will provide more than 60,000 meals for families and individuals in Washington.
The funding is a result of a B of A grant recognizing hunger as a critical need in the community, as well as fundraising from local employees.
To top it off, volunteers took a three-hour shift packaging food at the organization’s Kent facility.
