Bellevue Police arrested a 26-year-old Kent man Wednesday at a Kent apartment complex for investigation of first-degree robbery in connection with a Tuesday robbery in Bellevue.

A Bellevue SWAT team surrounded the Dutchess of Kent Apartments at about 5:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of State Avenue North, near the bottom of the James Street hill, said Bellevue Police Lt. Marcia Harnden, during a phone interview.

Police took the man into custody without incident. The SWAT team responded because the man displayed a gun during the reported robbery in Bellevue, Harnden said. The robbery occurred at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of 108th Avenue Southeast. Cash and other items were taken during the robbery.
