A 42-year-old Bothell man was critically injured Monday after his car reportedly crossed the centerline along Reith Road in Kent and collided with a pickup truck.
The Bothell man was driving a four-door Toyota sedan at about 10 a.m. eastbound down the hill near Lake Fenwick Road when he collided with a westbound Dodge truck driven up the hill by a 21-year-old Kent man, according to a Wednesday email from Kent Police Assistant Chief Jarod Kasner. The Kent man was not injured. Paramedics transported the Bothell man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
“He is still alive and in the hospital,” Kasner said.
Kasner said the collision remains under investigation as police are going over witness statements and processing evidence from the scene.
