Cedar Heights Middle School in Kent is hosting a spelling bee for fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students on March 2.
Participation is free.
The winner receives a Kindle Fire and advances to the regional bee in Seattle.
It is an educational experience as well as a fundraiser for Cedar Heights. Money raised will be used toward the school’s language arts programs.
