Central Avenue South reopened Thursday in both directions in Kent.
The street reopened Thursday morning southbound only as crews continue to clean up a landslide that had closed the entire street north of Willis Street since Tuesday evening.
City officials opened Central Avenue to northbound traffic as well by Thursday afternoon, according to the city website. Willis Street also is open at the intersection with Central.
Northbound Central Avenue had been closed between Russell Street and Gowe Street. Access to local businesses was available but limited on the east side of Central.
A landslide took out trees and knocked down power lines at about 10 p.m. Tuesday on Central Avenue between Willis and Saar streets.
