Science seminars slated at Highline
Highline Community College will offer its annual Science Seminar Series from 2:20 to 3:10 p.m. Fridays through March 6. The free seminars, which are free and open to the public, cover topics ranging from geologic disasters to computer science to breast-feeding. Library offers help filing income tax
Individuals needing help filling out their income tax forms can come to the Kent Regional Library for free help from Tax Aide volunteers in February. Trained volunteer tax counselors will offer basic income tax assistance 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and 10 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 5 through 28 at the library, 212 Second Ave. N., Kent. Registration is required. TOP coat drive for kids under way
TOP Food & Drug is sponsoring a Warm Coats for Kids Drive through Jan. 31. In Kent, donors can bring new or gently worn coats, hats, scarves and mittens to TOP Food & Drug, 26015 104th Ave. S.E.
