Molina Healthcare and the Molina Foundation teamed up to host a literacy event at Kent Elementary School on Oct. 22.
The Molina Foundation staff and community volunteers read books to children promoting a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Cleo, Molina Healthcare’s mascot, was there to greet the students, sharing hugs and high-fives.
The Molina Foundation will donate 800 books to school for students to take home.
Kent Elementary school is one of about 35 schools and community-based organizations in Washington to benefit from the donation of 40,000 books.
