Members of the 21-strong Matsiko Children’s Choir sing and dance in front of a packed gymnasium at Mill Creek Middle School last Friday, part of the school’s celebration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The choir, a touring musical group of orphans, is part of the International Children’s Network.
The choir raises support to help orphans throughout the world. Mill Creek also stages its first ever Black History Month assembly at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27.
