The state Republican party released the final presidential straw poll results from the caucuses around the state.

The state Republican party released the final presidential straw poll  results from the caucuses around the state.

Mitt Romney came out on top with Ron Paul running second.

Final Straw Poll Results

 

Candidate         Votes       Percentage

Mitt Romney      19,111       37.65 percent

Ron Paul            12,594     28.81 percent

Rick Santorum    12,089     23.81 percent

Newt Gingrich      5,221     10.28 percent

Undecided/Other  1,749     3.44 percent
