Four engines and a ladder truck responded to a barn fire Thursday morning, April 28 in Kent.
Firefighters responded at about 9:24 a.m. to the fire in the 23600 block of 156th Avenue SE, according to an email from Puget Sound Fire spokesman Pat Pawlak, a division chief. The barn was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
There were no injuries and it is unknown what was stored in the barn, Pawlak said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
“There are no fire hydrants in this area so firefighters shuttled water to the fire scene,” Pawlak said.
