All Kent School District families are invited to attend a “Getting School Ready” event on Jan. 21 at Springbrook Elementary.
The event is designed to help families prepare preschool children for reading.
The free story time for preschool children takes place at the same time parents attend their own class regarding fun activities they can do with their children to get them ready to read.
Each child will also receive a free book.
This event, held at Springbrook Elementary, is part of the Getting School Ready program which partners teachers with parents, families, and daycare providers to make sure preschool children are ready to enter kindergarten.
The event is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at Springbrook Elementary School, 20035 100th Ave. S.E. To RSVP or for more information, please contact Kenna Jutte at 253-373-3728.
