Nearly 10,000 bicyclists will ride through Kent and Auburn on Saturday, July 12 at part of the 35th annual Group Health Seattle to Portland (STP) Bicycle Classic.
Riders will hit Kent between 5:45 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday and stop for a food break at the Kent REI just off the West Valley Highway, also known as 68th Avenue South, before heading on to Auburn. A quarter of the riders cover the 200-plus mile course in one day while the rest arrive on Sunday in Portland.
The ride starts at the University of Washington between 4:45 and 7:25 a.m.
