Highway 167 northbound to Kent to close Thursday during trooper funeral procession

While the funeral procession for Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu passes through Auburn on SR 167 on the way to Showare Center in Kent, no traffic will be allowed to enter the highway northbound.

While the funeral procession for Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu passes through Auburn on SR 167 on the way to Showare Center in Kent, no traffic will be allowed to enter the highway northbound.

Due to the large number of emergency vehicles in the procession, it is estimated to be in Auburn between 10:30 a.m. and noon, Thursday, March 1, according to the Auburn Police.

Motorists are encouraged to seek other routes to travel northbound from Auburn to Kent.

Motorists can get real-time information about state highways before they travel by visiting  www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ or dialing 511.
