The Kent Predators will return for the 2011 Indoor Football League season.
The IFL’s executive committee approved the new ownership of the Predators, according to a Monday media release from Jim Granacker, general manager of the Kent pro team.
Jeffrey Scott is Kent’s new president and chief executive officer.
Kent opens the season Feb. 25 at the ShoWare Center.
“We want to continue the success Washington professional and college teams are having,” Scott said. “We hope all of those passionate fans will come out and join us and root for Western Washington’s professional indoor football team, the Kent Predators.”
The Predators plan to announce a new head coach later this week.
Season tickets, sponsorship and partnership opportunities are now on available through the Kent Predators office. To order your season tickets for the 2011 season, call 253-236-5568.
The Predators continue to scout players to add local talent to their roster. Interested players can participate in a free agent camp on Jan. 22, with details about when and where still to be determined.
