Kent Police arrested a 41-year-old man after a shooting at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, March 24 at The Lighthouse Apartments, 10710 SE 256th St., on the East Hill.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute, according to a Kent Police news release.
Initial information indicated that a 41-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman had been in an argument when the woman’s brother arrived, according to police. The man, 41, fought with the brother, ultimately resulting with the 41-year-old man and the woman being shot.
Officers detained and interviewed the woman’s brother, according to police.
Officers arrested the 41-year-old man after he was released from the hospital and booked him into the city of Kent jail on outstanding warrants. Paramedics transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Detectives continued to interview witnesses and process evidence from the scene.
