A valley tradition, the community celebrated the 44th annual Kent Cornucopia Days – South King County’s oldest and largest festival – this weekend with a full slate of entertainment and activities.
The free, four-day celebration took on special meaning this summer as Kent celebrated its 125th year since becoming a city in 1890.
This year’s theme, From Farming to Flying – 125 Years of Innovation, paid tribute to Kent, past and present.
Sunday featured a grand parade in downtown Kent.
The Kent Lions, a nonprofit organization, produces the festival each year.
