As expected by the early returns from the Aug. 18 primary, incumbent Elizabeth Albertson will face off against Geoff Koepp in the general election Nov. 3 for Kent City Council Position No. 6, according to the final results released Sept. 2 by the King County Elections Division.
Albertson had 3,647 votes (42 percent) followed by Koepp with 2,936 (33 percent) and Barbara Phillips with 2,159 votes (25 percent).
Twenty-five percent of the registered voters in the city of Kent voted in the primary.
