Residents can bring items to the city of Kent’s Spring Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at Hogan Park, 24400 Russell Road.
City crews will accept and dispose of recyclable items for free that are not normally accepted at the curb.
Instead of going to the landfill as trash, all items that the city collects will be reused or recycled.
