The 26th annual Kent Kids’ Arts Day returned last Saturday at Kent Commons.
The Kent Parks, Recreation & Community Services celebrates March as National Youth Arts Month by bringing kids, creativity and diversity to the community at the day-long festival. The event featured hands-on art projects led by professional artists for kids ages 4 to 14.
Kent Kids’ Arts Day is a project of the Kent Arts Commission and Kent Parks, Recreation and Community Services. The festival is organized with the assistance of community educators and is partially funded by 4Culture, Kent Lions Club, Fred Meyer and Kent Community Foundation.
The Kent School District, Kent Commons staff and many volunteers ensure its success. The event draws approximately 1,200 families annually.
