Kent Mayor Dana Ralph will present her 2022 State of the City address at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at Kent-Meridian High School, 10020 SE 256th St.
Residents are invited to attend the speech.
”I would love to have you there as I reflect on Kent’s legacy, celebrate our community and share updates about the progress we have made,” Ralph said in her Feb. 18 weekly update.
The State of the City is a customary speech that the mayor of a city gives each year to address the community, reflect on accomplishments, recognize areas for improvement and talk about the future. No RSVP is required to attend.
“Kent has a bright future, and I’m excited to speak to our vision and direction moving forward,” Ralph said. “It’s been quite a year, and you won’t want to miss this important update.”
Voters reelected Ralph in November 2021 to a second four-year term.
