Kent Mayor Dana Ralph has rescheduled her third and final city budget roadshow discussion to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Kent Senior Center, 600 E. Smith St.
The event had been set for Thursday, May 3, but a scheduling conflict caused the change.
Ralph and Finance Director Aaron BeMiller will host the community meeting to discuss the financial challenges of the city. Residents will hear a short presentation by BeMiller and then can participate in a question and answer session with Ralph and BeMiller about the budget and the city’s spending priorities.
Ralph had previous budget talks last month on the West Hill and East Hill.
Residents can make comments about the budget online at KentWA.gov/budgetfeedback.
