Kent Police found a missing 45-year-old woman safe and unharmed on Wednesday night in Seattle.
Detectives tracked down Jana Purdy, of Federal Way, who had last been seen or heard from on Jan. 6 after she left her job in downtown Kent. Police had asked for the public’s help on Tuesday to find Purdy.
“She was unharmed but taken to the hospital for evaluation,” said Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner in a Thursday email. Kasner said it is unknown why Purdy walked away from her job.
Purdy did not take any of her personal items with her, according to a police media release on Tuesday. She has a history of depression and suicidal ideation.
