Kent Police arrested suspects in a Friday morning, April 1 bank robbery about 10 minutes after the incident.
Officers responded to Key Bank, 10304 SE 256th St., at about 9:53 a.m. after reports of a bank robbery, according to Kent Police.
The suspects fled in a vehicle just prior to police arriving. No one was injured during the robbery.
Patrol officers flooded the area and at about 10:03 a.m. they located the alleged getaway vehicle on Willis Street near the Fourth Avenue South roundabout. Officers safely pinned the suspect vehicle to the shoulder of the road to prevent their escape, according to police.
Multiple suspects, police did not report how many, were taken into custody for first-degree robbery. Police identified one suspect as a 22-year-old Auburn man.
Similar robberies have been reported in neighboring cities and will be reviewed by detectives for potential links, according to police.
