A missing and vulnerable 38-year-old mentally delayed woman has been found and is no longer considered endangered
The Kent Police updated the missing woman case on Tuesday after asking on Sunday for help to find her.
Emilie Lorraine Zangara had last been seen on Saturday evening. Her roommate, who also is developmentally disabled, reported that Zangara left their apartment located in the 10800 block of SE 240th Street on foot.
Zangara has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and needs daily medication along with a two-week injected dose of medication. It was reported that she has the mental capacity comparable to a young teenager, and she was declared as an “incapacitated person.” More concerning is the fact that Zangara did not take her medication or any personal items with her.
Zangara’s family was afraid that due to her mental state she could easily be manipulated and taken advantage of.
