Kent Police will host an informational community meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 at Kent Elementary School, 24700 64th Ave. S.
The focus of the meeting is to bring police leadership and community members together to address crime concerns and introduce resources that police can provide to make neighborhoods safer and more secure.
This will be a great opportunity to talk to Police Chief Ken Thomas, command staff and other police department personnel about crime trends and prevention. The meeting will include a special presentation about the King County Guardian One helicopter and pilot.
The Kent Police Department hosts four community meetings each year, rotating them through various neighborhoods of the city.
