Residents are invited to a Kent Police Community Meeting to discuss crime statistics, hiring/retention of officers, staffing levels, state legislative priorities and other issues.
The meeting is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Zion Lutheran Church, 25105 132nd Ave. SE.
Police Chief Rafael Padilla will speak along with other command staff about current issues, according to a police statement. There also will be time for a question and answer session.
