The Kent Police are trying to identify a woman caught on video as she reportedly broke into a vending machine used to purchase car washes at the Brown Bear Car Wash downtown.

The woman allegedly broke into the machine the night of April 3. Video taken by the company’s security system shows the woman reportedly prying open a coin-operated vending machine at the car wash and removing change from the cash box.

Police report the woman also may be involved in other coin thefts from businesses in the south Puget Sound region.

The police have released a photo of the woman from the video.

Anyone with information about the woman can call the Kent Police tip line at 253-856-5808.
