Residents can take part in a Kent Police Community Meeting and Block Watch 101 class on Thursday, May 23 at Sunnycrest Elementary School, 24620 42nd Ave. S., on the West Hill.
Join the department for an evening full of crime prevention tips and information. The Block Watch 101 class starts at 6 p.m. followed by the Community Meeting at 7 p.m.
Members of the Community Education Unit, Neighborhood Response Team officers, Chief Ken Thomas and other staff will provide information about how to enhance your security, deploy crime prevention strategies and the latest crime stats.
