The Kent Predators defeated the Fairbanks Grizzlies 56-41 in a professional Indoor Football League game Sunday at the ShoWare Center.
Kent evened its record at 1-1 in the Pacific Division. Fairbanks dropped to 0-2.
The Predators scored two touchdowns early in the third quarter to take a 43-21 lead and break open a close game against one of their division rivals.
Kent plays road games March 17 at the La Crosse (Wis.) Spartans and March 25 at the Chicago Slaughter before returning home for an April 1 game against Fairbanks.
