The Kent Rotary Club‘s annual fundraiser is Saturday, March 31 at the ShoWare Center.
The group hopes to raise more than $100,000 to fund service projects including dictionaries for each third-grade student in the Kent School District; college scholarships; food bank donations and other projects.
The Escapades dinner and charity auction starts at 5:30 p.m. Silent and live auctions are planned as well as the traditional dessert dash. Danny Vernon will entertain guests with his Elvis impersonation as part of the fundraiser’s Las Vegas theme.
Tickets are $70 per person. For tickets, go to www.kentrotary.org.
