The initial election night results posted on the King County Elections website showed a shortfall for Kent School District bonds and a thumbs up to the Kent Regional Fire Authority benefit charge.
The Kent School District proposition for capital improvement and school construction general obligation bonds for $252,000,000 was falling short of the needed 60 percent approval. The results were 58 percent approval and 42 percent no.
Voters are approving the fire benefit charge for the Kent Regional Fire Authority by 64 percent to 36 percent.
