The annual city of Kent Summer Recycling Event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Phoenix Academy parking lot, 11000 SE 264th St.
Bring appliances, mattresses, batteries, bulky yard debris and scrap wood and reusable household goods. A shredder also will be on site to get rid of confidential documents.
