Sign up for Kent’s 29th annual Christmas Rush Fun Run and walk Saturday, Dec. 10 starting at Riverbend Golf Course.

The 10K starts at 9:50 a.m. and the 5K at 10 a.m. The walk also is 5K.

Hosted by Kent Parks Recreation and Community Services, the race is a holiday tradition for many residents throughout the Puget Sound. Both the 10K and 5K are certified and chip timed by BuDu Racing.

Highlights include holiday music performed by the Kentwood High School band, random prizes and awards for the top five finishers in each age group.

Entry fees are $20 or $35 (including a T-shirt). Participants ages 13 and under run for free, and receive a complimentary T-shirt courtesy of Tab Wizard.

Registration forms are available at the Kent Commons and many Puget Sound athletic stores. Online registration is available at http://kentwa.gov/arts/.

Race day registration and packet pick up is also available near the start/finish line at 8 a.m.

Parking for the race is at Russell Road Park, 24400 Russell Road. Please allow for an additional 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot to the registration/starting area. Staff will be on site to provide guidance.
