Don’t know what to do with old tires or appliances? Then take them to the city of Kent’s spring recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 20 at Russell Road Park, 24400 Russell Road.
Batteries, mattresses and other hard-to-recycle items also will be accepted.
Computers and televisions no longer are accepted at the event since most Goodwill stores now take those items.
