Kent voters are helping to return all of the incumbents in House Districts 33 and 47 to the state Legislature in Olympia.

In District 33, state Rep. Tina Orwall, D-Des Moines received 70 percent of the vote to 30 percent for Republican challenger John Potter for Position 1, according to Tuesday night results. Incumbent Mia Su-Ling Gregerson, D-SeaTac, had 66 percent to 34 percent for Republican challenger Pam Pollock for Position 2. The district covers Kent’s West Hill and the Kent Valley.

In District 47, state Rep. Mark Hargrove, R-Covington, had 56 percent of the vote to 44 percent for Democratic challenger Brooke Valentine for Position 1. Incumbent Pat Sullivan, D-Covington, received 59 percent to 41 percent for Republican challenger Barry Knowles. The district covers much of Kent’s East Hill.
