Tons of fun are in the works for kids of all ages at the upcoming “You Me We” festival from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, March 4, at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Families won’t want to miss the sixth annual event which celebrates the great work of many youth, teen and family resources serving Kent while spotlighting the exceptional talents of young local performers.
ShoWare Center’s upper level will host Kent for Health’s Journey to Wellness, a collection of interactive teaching booths featuring hands-on physical fitness and healthy eating activities.
Doors for the free event open at 6 p.m. Performances begin at 6:30 p.m.
Other activities include: Interactive booths; hands-on art activities; sports competitions; bounce houses; games, contests, raffles and prizes; $1 hot dogs and $1 soda.
Kent Food Bank will welcome canned food donations.
The event is organized by a collaboration of community groups, including the Kent Parks Department, Kent School District, youth groups, sports organizations, churches, local businesses and service clubs.
