Spencer Johnson of Covington threw out the first ceremonial pitch at the Seattle Mariners Salute to Kids game sponsored by Boeing last Saturday.
Johnson, 15, attends Kentwood High and plays shortstop and pitcher for the school’s freshman team.
Boeing’s sponsorship of the game is part of the company’s continued commitment to the communities where its employees work and live.
