King County Elections hosts a series of candidate workshops for anyone interested in running for office. Workshops are set for March and April.
The series comes to the Kent Library, 212 Second Ave. N., on Saturday, March 2, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Topics that will be covered include:
• Offices up for election
• How to become a candidate
• Filing fees
• Campaign signs
• Basic campaign finance information
• Candidate statements for the voter’s pamphlet
