Sen. Joe Fain along with Reps. Pat Sullivan and Mark Hargrove will host two in-person town hall meetings on Saturday, March 12. District residents are encouraged to attend and bring their questions and concerns.

The morning meeting will be a roundtable discussion of any and all issues before the Legislature. The afternoon discussion will focus solely on education.

This meeting will focus on education-related issues before the Legislature.

“When we conducted a telephone town hall in February, the response was very encouraging,” said Fain, R-Auburn. “It is obvious that people in our district are concerned about the issues their state government is dealing with, and I’m looking forward to meeting with them face to face to talk about solutions.”

“We’re grappling with some very important decisions in Olympia right now that will have significant impacts on our local schools, our seniors, and people who are out of work,” said Democrat Majority Leader Sullivan, D-Covington. “We really want and need to hear from people about what we should prioritize in the state budget and how we strengthen our economic recovery.”

“I am truly looking forward to meeting with folks and hearing their thoughts on what is happening in Olympia,” said Hargrove, R-Covington. “Hosting these gatherings with my seatmates will help constituents reach us all at one time and location. I hope to hear a lot of questions and suggestions.”
