Local clubs host clothing drives to raise money

The Northwest Soccer and Charger Cheer clubs have joined Clothes for the Cause, a fundraising company that collects clothes in exchange for cash, to raise money for the two organizations.

Clothes For The Cause collects clothing and shoes and turns them into cash for schools

The Northwest Soccer and Charger Cheer clubs have joined Clothes for the Cause, a fundraising company that collects clothes in exchange for cash, to raise money for the two organizations.

The public can donate items that friends, family and neighbors already have in their houses such as clothes, shoes, purses, belts and household linens.

For the soccer club, donations are being collected today, Saturday and Sunday at 13731 SE 275th Place, Kent.

For the Charger Cheer Club, donations are being collected, now through Jan. 23. You can make dropoff or pickup arrangements with Angie Moncrief at 425-793-9330 or kentridgecheerboosterclub@gmail.com.
