A man in his 20s was shot and injured during a dispute Thursday night, Jan. 28 at the Kent Sounder Station garage, 301 Railroad Ave. N.
Officers responded at about 10:10 p.m. to a report of a fight and a gunshot, according to Kent Police. Officers didn’t locate anyone when they first arrived in the area.
At about 10:20 p.m., officers received a phone call from a local restaurant reporting a man with multiple gunshot wounds had entered the establishment. Police found the man inside the restaurant. He was conscious when officers arrived but quickly lost consciousness. Paramedics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Police closed the garage for detectives to gather evidence. They will review video surveillance in an attempt to get suspect information and learn what led up to the incident.
Detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information to call the tip line at 253-856-5808 and reference case number 21-1174.
