These words were used to describe Mattson Middle School’s outstanding students and staff, acknowledged as Rotary Club of Kent-Sunrise’s Middle School of the Month for April. The club was proud acknowledge the Classified Employee of the Month Susanne Greenman, as well as Students of the Month Evan Russell, Ashlyn Heller, Rima Mehta, Austin Tinnel, and Teacher of the Month Kathy Torres.

Each student and staff member was recognized for their unique talents and contributions to Mattson. Before club members, and members of their family and peers, the students and staff members gave a brief speech about their interests, activities and plans for their future.

According to the club, “High GPAs and school spirit are only a small part of what makes these students and staff members at Mattson Middle School so special.
