More than 100 current and former members and their guests celebrated Meridian Valley Country Club’s 50th anniversary on Sunday.
The celebration featured a nine-hole golf tournament, golf-themed games and a dunk tank, as well as a classic car show.
The club was started by a group of Kent businessmen, led by Jack Lynch Sr., who decided a private golf and country club would add to the area.
Bowen Scarff, one of the 13 founding members of the club, was among attendees at the celebration.
