For the Reporter
The Meridian Valley Country Club recently honored Seattle Seahawks running back Robert Turbin as a strong supporter of the community and a Super Bowl champion.
More than 180 Meridian Valley members and homeowners – in keeping with the 12th Man tradition – honored the visiting Seahawk, declaring Feb. 12 as Robert Turbin Day in the Meridian Valley community.
Turbin was incredibly well-spoken and witty in the question-and-answer portion of the event, and graciously mingled with his fans throughout the evening.
The Meridian Valley Country Club presented him with an honorary membership and a “Key to the Club” – a new putter.
The community would like to thank Turbin for his involvement in the successful event.
