Delnov streaked to puck and came into the Everett zone along the left boards. Delnov came down on Lotz going left to right and beat the goalie with a backhand shot high over the goalie’s glove. This was the T-Birds first shorthanded goal of the season.

Reid Petryk tied the game 2-2 for Everett at 7:59 of the third period. Ryan Murray had the assist on the goal that came just after a T-Birds power play ended.
Honey put the T-Birds back in front less than a minute after Everett’s tying goal. Honey got a loose puck in the neutral zone and skated in the Everett zone with Sheen on his right. Honey cut into the slot and blasted a shot past Lotz for his second goal of the game.
