Kent School District – in partnership with Green River Community College – hosts a grand opening of the new Individualized Graduation and Diploma program or iGrad School.
The grand opening is 10 a.m. Sept 6 at 25678 104th Ave. SE.
The iGrad School was designed to give students who have dropped out a second chance to complete their high school graduation requirements. Students also have access, through iGrad, to GRCC courses.
“While a high school diploma is an important start to a lifetime of success and involvement, for many reasons, some students leave school and never complete or continue their education. iGrad is a chance for students and our community to recapture those lost opportunities,” said KSD Superintendent Edward Lee Vargas.
