A portion of South 266th Street on Tuesday afternoon remained the only road closed in Kent due to water over the roadway from heavy rain last week.
South 266th Street between 79th Avenue South and Central Avenue South remained closed at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to the City Public Works Department.
Streets that had water over the roadway but are now open include 148th Avenue Southeast from SE 249th Street to SE 256th Street and Green River Road at 94th Place South.
The National Weather Service reported Tuesday morning that the flood warning for the Green River near Auburn had ended.
